Miranti cooking!

Miranti is an Indonesian native, the founder of The Joy of Feasting, a lifestyle brand exploring the intersection of food & culture. With a background in art, design, performance and self taught cook, she uses food as a canvas for artful creations and memorable experiences, and was described by celebrity chef Graham Elliott as a “Culinary Poet”.

Her tastes are informed by her Indonesian heritage, international travels, wide ranging culinary interests, and life as a Brooklynite. Miranti is particularly known for her sensitive palette and exceptional and daring flavor combinations. 

Miranti can be found creating new fusion dishes rooted from her indonesian culinary traditions, accepting commissions for one-of-a-kind artful cakes and confections, and working with various NYC artists to infuse epicurean experiments to further heighten the visceral experience.

She pushed through during quarantine providing people with curated Indonesian inspired meal boxes in hope to spark the imaginations & take the taste bud to a voyage far away when we were stuck in our living rooms. She considers Mad Tropical her home for her successful pop up series and a brunch residency pre Covid and finally is able to return for this two days affair. 

Currently Miranti is working towards developing a line of  Joy Of Feasting pantry  products, designed to introduce and preserve her family culinary legacy  and a surprise project due this Fall.
